I've decided to raise awareness and funds for an amazing cause that's close to my heart, in the hope to make a difference for the younger generation. I would appreciate support in my fundraising efforts with any donation, big or small. Thanks so much!

In August 2022 I set out to achieve a massive feat for myself by raising awareness around children’s mental health and well-being. It’s vital to be able to support children who may be experiencing mental health symptoms by education and early intervention.

I will be running from Sydney Opera House to Burleigh Hill, which is approximately 850km and looking at accomplishing it in under 9days. My support crew will be following and aiding me along the way. It is crucial to have a network of supports to assist me through challenging moments, ensure safety and help to maintain a positive mindset throughout the journey. Personally, I’ve found pushing myself mentally and physically whilst supporting a meaningful charity is my way of giving back and showing anything is possible. I found running when I was at the lowest of lows and now use my body and mind as my driving force to make change around individuals mental health. 

Any donations big or small will change the lives of many young children that gain assistance from Kids Helpline. In 2017, 1 in 6 children aged 5 - 25yrs accessed Kids Helpline seeking support for suicide concerns (kidshelpline.com.au). This statistic is so alarming that we need to support children and their mental health to ensure positive outcomes and stability into the future.
